Best Delhi to Kasol Tour Packages Curated By Experts

All Delhi to Kasol Packages

Kasol Tour Packages from Delhi Kasol is the most famous village in the Parvati Valley, and that fame comes with a catch. The riverside cafes, the Israeli food, the backpacker energy and the easy access have made it one of the most popular mountain getaways from Delhi. It has also made it crowded, especially in season. Here is the honest version. The Parvati Valley is genuinely beautiful. The Parvati river, the pine forests, the hot springs, the treks to Kheerganga and Tosh, the quiet villages of Pulga and Kalga. All of that is real and worth the trip. But the quiet that people imagine when they picture Kasol is now found a little away from Kasol itself, in the smaller villages and on the trails. This page is for travellers who want the real Parvati Valley from Delhi, whether that means a few days of cafe culture by the river, a trek to Kheerganga, or a quiet stay in Tosh away from the crowds. It works for groups of friends, but it is written just as much for couples, families and travellers who want comfort and their own pace rather than a budget group bus. From Delhi, you take an overnight journey to Bhuntar and drive into the valley. We will help you decide how many days you need, where to base yourself, which treks suit you, and how to do Kasol in a way that actually feels good. Featured Kasol Package Types from Delhi 3 Days, 2 Nights: Delhi to Kasol Weekend Trip For travellers with a weekend and one day of leave. Overnight journey from Delhi, a day exploring Kasol, the Parvati river, the cafes and a short walk to Chalal, a visit to Manikaran, and the overnight journey back. This is a relaxed introduction to the valley. No trek, no rush. Good for couples and friends who want a short river and cafe break. 4 Days, 3 Nights: Delhi to Kasol and Tosh The comfortable core trip. A day in and around Kasol, then a move to Tosh, the quieter hillside village with the best valley views in this part of Parvati. Manikaran and Chalal included. This is the version we recommend for most couples and families. You get Kasol's energy and Tosh's calm, without a demanding trek. 5 Days, 4 Nights: Kasol, Tosh and Kheerganga Trek The most popular format. Everything in the four day trip, plus the Kheerganga trek, an overnight camp at the hot spring near 3,000 metres, and the descent the next day. For travellers who are reasonably fit and want the marquee Parvati Valley trek. The Kheerganga night, under a sky full of stars at a Himalayan hot spring, is the highlight of many trips. 6 to 7 Days: Complete Parvati Valley Circuit from Delhi The full experience. Kasol, Chalal, Manikaran, Tosh, the quiet villages of Pulga and Kalga, the Kheerganga trek, and a visit to Malana for its unique culture. The most relaxed and complete format. Good for travellers who want to see the whole valley, including the parts most weekend trips skip, without rushing any of it. The Honest Truth About Kasol Today Most pages about Kasol sell you a romantic image. The peaceful hippie village, the empty riverside cafe, the quiet trail. That image was true once. It is only partly true now. Kasol has become one of the most popular weekend destinations from Delhi and Chandigarh. In season, the main road is busy, the cafes are full, and the village can feel more like a crowded tourist hub than a quiet mountain escape. If you arrive expecting solitude in Kasol itself, you may be disappointed. But here is the part the romantic pages and the crowded reality both miss. The Parvati Valley is still genuinely beautiful, and the quiet is still there. It has just moved a little further up the valley. Tosh, a hillside village above Barshaini, has the best views in this part of the valley and a far calmer atmosphere. Pulga and Kalga, small villages near the Kheerganga trailhead, are quieter still, with old wooden houses and apple orchards. The Kheerganga trek takes you into proper forest and ends at a hot spring near 3,000 metres. Chalal, a short walk from Kasol, is calmer than the main village. So our honest advice is this. Use Kasol for what it is good at: cafes, food, a base, and easy access. But for the quiet that brought you to the mountains, plan time in Tosh or the villages above it. We build trips that balance both. How to Reach Kasol from Delhi Overnight Volvo or bus. The most common option. Buses leave Delhi in the evening, mostly between 5 PM and 8 PM, from ISBT Kashmere Gate and pickup points like Majnu Ka Tilla and Akshardam. They reach Bhuntar by morning. From Bhuntar, Kasol is about 30 km, an hour by local cab or bus. Volvo and sleeper options are available. Private cab from Delhi. The most comfortable option for families and couples. One vehicle from Delhi through the whole trip. The drive is about 11 to 12 hours. Many travellers break the journey with a night near Mandi. Self drive. Possible for experienced drivers. Leave Delhi by 4 to 5 AM to reach Kasol by evening, or drive to Mandi and stay overnight to break the journey. The road into the valley from Bhuntar is scenic but narrow in places. Fly to Bhuntar. Kullu Bhuntar airport is about 30 km from Kasol. Flights from Delhi are limited and weather dependent, so not reliable for planning. Route: Delhi to Kasol Delhi to Mandi about 420 to 440 km on the Chandigarh and Bilaspur highway. The longest leg, 9 to 11 hours, usually covered overnight. Mandi to Bhuntar about 60 km, the road following the Beas river into the Kullu valley. Bhuntar to Kasol about 30 km, roughly an hour, the road turning off at Bhuntar and following the Parvati river up the valley through Jari to Kasol. Kasol onward: Manikaran is 6 km further. Barshaini, the trailhead for Kheerganga and Tosh, is about 20 km from Kasol. The Treks and Villages: Which One Suits You Kasol is the base. Cafes, food, shops, the river, easy access, and the most people. Good for arrival, food and convenience. Chalal is a short, easy walk from Kasol along the river. Quieter, with a few cafes. A gentle introduction to the valley, suitable for everyone. Manikaran is six km from Kasol. A Sikh gurudwara, hot springs, and temples. Spiritually significant and worth a visit. The hot springs are believed to have healing properties. Tosh is a hillside village above Barshaini, reached by a short uphill walk from the road. The best valley views in lower Parvati, a calmer atmosphere, and good guesthouses. The best base if you want quiet with comfort. Pulga and Kalga are small, quiet villages near the Kheerganga trailhead. Old wooden houses, apple orchards, very few crowds. For travellers who want the quietest stay. Kheerganga is the marquee trek. A 12 to 14 km uphill walk through forest to a hot spring near 3,000 metres, with an overnight camp. Moderate difficulty. The highlight of many trips for those who are fit enough. Malana is an ancient village with a unique, self governing culture and its own customs. Reached by a trek. Visitors should respect strict local rules, including restrictions on touching certain structures and on photography in some areas. Is the Kheerganga Trek Right for You? This is worth being honest about, because too many packages sell the Kheerganga trek as a casual walk. It is not. The trek is about 12 to 14 km one way, climbing from Barshaini to a hot spring at around 3,000 metres. It takes most people 5 to 7 hours uphill, on a trail that is steep and rocky in sections, passing through forest, past waterfalls, with the valley opening up as you climb. For a reasonably fit adult, it is a rewarding and very doable trek. The reward at the top is real: a natural hot spring at altitude, a night camping under a sky full of stars, and a sense of having earned the view. It is not suitable for very young children, for anyone with significant knee problems, or for anyone with heart conditions, without medical clearance. If you are not used to walking long distances, train a little before the trip, and tell us honestly about your fitness so we can plan the right pace or suggest an alternative. If the Kheerganga trek is not for you, the valley still has plenty. Tosh, the villages, Chalal, Manikaran and the river make a full, beautiful trip without the climb. Why Travel Coffee for Your Delhi to Kasol Trip We are based in Himachal, and we plan the Parvati Valley honestly. We plan for comfort, not just budget. Most Kasol packages are group buses and dorm beds. We plan private trips with good stays, for couples, families and groups who want their own pace. We tell you where the quiet is, basing you in Tosh, Pulga or Kalga rather than the busiest part of Kasol. We give honest trek guidance on whether Kheerganga suits your group. We plan realistically around the monsoon landslide risk, which is real in this valley. Good stays, all personally checked. Local drivers and trek guides who know the valley. And flexible support when mountain roads and weather change. Safety, Roads and Honest Guidance Monsoon landslides are the single most important safety point. The Parvati Valley is one of the more landslide prone parts of Himachal, and the monsoon months of July and August carry real risk. Plan your trip outside this window if you can. Altitude: Kasol at 1,640 metres is low and safe. Kheerganga at around 3,000 metres is moderate. Most people feel no altitude effects, but ascend the trek at a steady pace. The treks are real treks, not walks. Go with a guide, carry water, wear proper shoes, and be honest about your fitness. The Delhi to Bhuntar route is standard highway; the valley road from Bhuntar is scenic but narrow and winding in places, so avoid driving the mountain sections at night. Especially in Malana, follow local rules carefully, including on photography and touching certain structures. Practical Travel Information Mobile network: Kasol and the main villages have reasonable coverage, better than many remote Himachal destinations. On the treks, especially toward Kheerganga, signal drops. BSNL and Jio work in most of the valley. Cash: Kasol has ATMs, but they can run out in season. Carry enough cash, especially for the villages and treks where cards are not accepted. Fuel: Fill up at Bhuntar. Inside the upper valley, options are limited. Packing: Layers, a warm jacket for evenings even in summer, sturdy shoes for treks and walks, a rain layer outside the driest months, sunscreen, a headlamp for the Kheerganga camp, personal medicines and cash. Food: Kasol is a food destination. Israeli, Italian, local Himachali and standard Indian food, with many good cafes. Vegetarian options are plentiful. On the treks, food is simple camp fare.
