Itinerary

Arrive at Udaipur airport or railway station and transfer to your hotel in a private cab. The evening belongs to Lake Pichola, a sunset boat ride past Jag Mandir with the City Palace glowing across the water. If you are up for it, the Dharohar folk show at Bagore Ki Haveli is a short walk from the jetty. Dinner at a rooftop restaurant near Lal Ghat. Udaipur makes its best first impression at sunset.

Know Before You Go
Mount Abu stays noticeably cooler than Udaipur through the year. Carry a light jacket even in October and proper woollens from December to February
Dilwara temple timings for tourists are roughly noon to 5 pm, mornings are reserved for worship. Photography is not allowed inside and leather items are not allowed
AC use is restricted on the hill climb sections of the Mount Abu road, standard practice for hill roads
The Udaipur to Mount Abu drive is about 165 km and takes around four hours. We place it mid trip so no day feels wasted
For honeymoon bookings we can add room decoration and a candlelight dinner, ask at the time of booking
Monument entry fees are payable at the gate and are not part of the package
Boat rides at both lakes depend on water levels and weather. We confirm current status at the time of booking
July to September is the green season, Mount Abu is at its best and Udaipur's lakes are full. Expect occasional slow driving on wet hill stretches
