Your Trip in a Nutshell
Duration
4 Nights / 5 Days
Start / End Point
Delhi
Stay
Manali (3N, selected 4 star) • Overnight return drive (1N)
Meals
3 breakfasts (Day 2 to Day 4) and 3 dinners (Day 1 to Day 3), 6 meals in total
Main Highlight
A comfortable private Manali holiday with three nights in a selected 4 star hotel, a private cab for your group only, Manali local sightseeing, Solang Valley with seasonal Rohtang Pass, and a departure day that covers Naggar and Kullu on the way down to your drop point
Best Season
Rohtang is usually reachable once the authorities open the road and until snowfall makes it unsafe. There are no fixed opening or closing dates, so the alternative Lahaul route is planned for the rest of the year
Ideal For
Couples, families, friends, and small private groups who want a comfortable holiday with their own cab and no wasted hours on the last day
Know Before You Go
Your return journey starts on Day 4, not Day 5. After breakfast you check out, your bags travel in the cab, you get free time around Mall Road and Old Manali, and the same cab takes you down through Naggar and Kullu before continuing to your drop point. There is no hotel night on Day 4
For Chandigarh you usually reach around midnight or in the early hours of Day 5, and for Delhi early on Day 5 morning. Your driver takes proper meal and rest stops through the night
If you would rather not travel overnight, tell us before booking. We can add a fourth night in Manali with a Day 5 morning departure instead. That night is priced separately and is not part of the package rate
On the Manali to Manali option you are dropped at your agreed Manali location on Day 4 evening and the trip ends there. The three hotel nights and all the sightseeing stay the same. A transfer to Bhuntar is not included unless it is written in your confirmation
The Day 4 stops are planned around your drive time. If you would rather leave earlier, tell your driver in the morning and we start the run down sooner, with no refund for the skipped sightseeing
Naggar Castle is usually open every day. The Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery follows its own opening hours, weekly closure, and public holidays, and is normally shut on Mondays. If it is closed, the time is used at another Naggar spot
River rafting on the Beas near Babeli or Pirdi is optional and paid directly. The Kullu administration suspends rafting every year through the monsoon, usually from 15 July to 15 September, and it is generally not run in peak winter when the water is low and very cold
If you want rafting, please tell us in advance. It takes up most of the Day 4 afternoon, so the rest of the day has to be planned around it
Shawl, handicraft, and local product outlets are optional, with no obligation to buy anything
Rohtang Pass is not promised just because it is in the package name. The visit depends on the official opening, the road, the permit quota, maintenance days, weather, and instructions from the local administration
The Rohtang trip needs a vehicle based permit and runs on a daily quota. The official permit portal also lists Tuesday as the regular maintenance day, though local rules can change. When that affects your Rohtang day, we swap it with the Day 2 local sightseeing. Day 4 cannot be moved, since your return journey starts that day
The vehicle used for Rohtang follows the rules that apply on your travel date. It may be your own trip cab or a separately arranged locally authorised vehicle. Whichever applies is written in your final booking confirmation
If Rohtang is not possible, the day may change to Solang Valley, the Atal Tunnel, the North Portal, Sissu, and the Sissu lake or waterfall viewpoint if reachable. Koksar is not automatic with every Sissu trip. It is covered only when the road, weather, vehicle, and time allow
If the Atal Tunnel and Sissu route is also shut, we may suggest Solang Valley with Sethan, Hamta Valley, or another reachable snow point, depending on permissions, road access, and safety
Rohtang, the Atal Tunnel, Sissu, Koksar, Sethan, and Hamta Valley are not one combined route. We pick the safest and most practical option for the conditions on the day. If you want the Atal Tunnel and Sissu in addition to Rohtang, ask before booking and we will quote an extra day
If Rohtang is not available, we either arrange the alternative sightseeing inside your package or process the unused and recoverable Rohtang amount, as per your confirmation. If you accept the alternative and it is completed, no separate Rohtang refund applies, because the excursion has been replaced
If neither Rohtang nor the confirmed alternative can be run, the unused and recoverable Rohtang amount is refunded. Your hotel, meals, base transport, and other completed services are not part of that refund. Government permit fees, congestion charges, or vendor payments already issued and officially non refundable may be deducted
No refund applies if Rohtang is running and the arrangements are made, but you decide not to go, report late, or cannot travel for personal reasons
Snowfall and ground snow cannot be promised. Visiting Rohtang, Solang Valley, Sissu, or another snow point does not mean there will be fresh snow or a set amount of it
Your cab is private for your booking and is never shared with unrelated travellers. The vehicle is chosen by your number of adults and children, luggage, pick up point, route, and the comfort level you select. A sedan usually suits two or three travellers with reasonable luggage, while families and bigger groups may need an MUV, SUV, or Tempo Traveller
Seating capacity is not the same as comfortable touring capacity. Extra luggage cuts into comfort and may need a bigger vehicle at extra cost. Innova, Innova Crysta, or any specific model is provided only when it is written in your final confirmation. Vehicle colour, registration number, and exact model cannot be promised unless agreed in writing
The cab covers your confirmed itinerary and reasonable sightseeing duty, including the Day 4 route through to your final drop, and is not at your disposal beyond that. Air conditioning may not work on hilly stretches, steep climbs, or while parked, which is normal for mountain driving. Your driver helps with the route and local coordination but is not a professional guide
One pick up and one drop at agreed locations are included. Multiple pick ups, faraway locations, route changes, and extra waiting may cost more. Your pick up point should be reachable by the confirmed vehicle
Standard hotel check in is usually 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and check out is 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Early check in and late check out depend on availability and may cost extra. On Day 4 the standard check out time applies and your bags then travel in the cab
The hotel is a selected 4 star property, but a mountain view, valley view, balcony, bathtub, room heater, lift, air conditioning, or a Mall Road location is not promised unless it is written in your hotel confirmation. In the hills, room size, views, and facilities can differ between properties even in the same category
Triple sharing rooms may come with an extra mattress or rollaway bed rather than three proper beds. Family rooms and interconnected rooms depend on availability. Breakfast and dinner may be a buffet or a fixed menu based on hotel occupancy, and the menu and service format are decided by the hotel
If you reach Manali after the hotel kitchen closes on Day 1, we request a simple or packed dinner wherever the hotel can provide it. A full buffet dinner cannot be promised after regular kitchen hours. Day 4 dinner is not included, since you are on the road that evening, and your driver stops at a reasonable place to eat
Parts of Mall Road, Old Manali, and the temple areas need to be explored on foot because vehicles are not allowed beyond certain points
Jogini Waterfall can be added on request, but it needs extra walking and time. If you choose it, some regular local sightseeing points may be skipped, and any transport or route difference is shared with you beforehand
Rohtang is high up. If you have breathing problems, heart conditions, severe asthma, pregnancy related concerns, or other serious medical conditions, consult a doctor before you travel. Avoid heavy physical activity at height, drink water, and tell your driver or our team if you feel unwell
Every adult should carry an original government issued photo ID. Children should carry something that shows their date of birth. These may be needed for the hotel, permits, or local checks
Carry layered warm clothing, comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, basic medicines, a reusable water bottle, and a small day bag. Winter clothing and snow gear can usually be rented locally and are not included
Weather, traffic, landslides, snowfall, and official restrictions can change travel time and sightseeing. We give you the most practical option available, but natural conditions cannot be controlled. If a disruption needs extra stay, meals, or travel, that cost is payable by you, and we help with the arrangements
The shown price may be a starting price based on selected dates, minimum occupancy, and one pick up option. The final cost depends on your travel dates, season, weekends, holidays, hotel availability, number of travellers, room needs, vehicle, and pick up point. Peak season, snowfall season, festive, and last minute bookings may cost more
The price shown is per person and is the same for adults and children. If you are travelling with a young child who may not need an extra bed, share their age when you ask for a quote and we will confirm the final amount
Avoid booking a tight train or flight on the morning you arrive at your drop point. Delays from traffic, weather, roadwork, or landslides do happen on this route
Your booking is confirmed only after the required payment is received and we issue a written confirmation. That confirmation should clearly mention your hotel, room category, meal plan, vehicle category, pick up option, Rohtang arrangement, and cancellation terms

Had an absolutely incredible trip exploring Manali, Solang, Sethan, Khokhsar, Sissu, and Darcha, all the way up to Shinkula Pass and Shinkula Top, thanks to Travel Coffee! A huge shoutout to Preeti Jasyal, who helped us a lot throughout the process. She is an amazing person and went above and beyond to help us create the perfect booking. The entire service was seamless and highly effective, and the hotels she selected for us were absolutely amazing with great comfort and views. Driving through those massive mountain terrains can be daunting, but their flawless coordination made the entire journey stress-free. If you're planning a trip to Leh, Ladakh, Spiti, or any of these mountain regions, Travel Coffee is the way to go!
