This is a private 4x4 expedition, not a luxury holiday. The Jimny or Scorpio N gives you a premium vehicle experience but Zanskar roads and stays remain raw. That combination is the whole point
You can request Jimny or Scorpio N based on your preference. Final confirmation depends on availability, route condition, luggage, and group size
Jimny works best for 2 travellers with light luggage. Scorpio N works better for groups of 3 to 4 or travellers with more luggage
For Delhi and Chandigarh start points, the leg to and from Manali can be by Volvo, shared transfer, or private vehicle based on your package and budget
Stays in remote areas like Purne, Kargyak, and Gonbo Rangjon side will be camps, homestays, or basic guesthouses regardless of preference. Comfort upgrades are possible in Manali, Jispa, Keylong, and Padum where better properties exist
Shinku La, Baralacha La, Pensi La, Drang Drung Glacier, Suraj Tal, and Deepak Tal are all condition based. Covered only if the road is open and safe
Phugtal Monastery requires walking from the last motorable point. Be comfortable with 1 to 2 hours of walking
Network is weak or gone in most of Zanskar. Carry cash, power bank, and inform your family before entering remote sections
