This is a 4x4 expedition, not a luxury holiday. The Jimny or Scorpio N handles the expedition route but the roads and stays are the same raw Zanskar. That is what makes it special
Delhi to Manali and back is by Volvo. The Jimny or Scorpio N covers the full expedition route from Manali to Zanskar and back to Manali including all sightseeing in Zanskar. For Manali local exploration on Day 2, a local vehicle may be used if needed
The vehicle depends on batch size and availability. Travel Coffee assigns the vehicle before departure
Pack light. One rucksack or soft duffle. No trolley bags. Both Jimny and Scorpio N work best with compact luggage
Shinku La, Baralacha La, Pensi La, Drang Drung Glacier, Suraj Tal, and Deepak Tal are all condition based. Covered only if the road is open and safe
Phugtal Monastery requires walking from the last motorable point. Be comfortable with 1 to 2 hours of walking on mountain trails
Route, stays, and sightseeing may change based on snow clearance, landslides, weather, and local updates. Flexibility is part of Zanskar travel
Network is weak or gone in most of Zanskar. Carry cash, power bank, and inform your family before entering remote sections
Stays are basic to comfortable. Hot water and electricity may be limited. The premium feel comes from the 4x4 vehicle and the smaller group, not the stays

Same route and destinations. The standard group tour uses a shared Tempo Traveller at Rs 20,999. This expedition uses a Jimny or Scorpio N for the expedition route in a smaller batch at Rs 32,999. The vehicle, the group size, and the feel of the trip are completely different.
