- This is a Gulmarg winter holiday, but snowfall depends on the actual weather and your travel dates. November may have mountain scenery without widespread snow.
- Early December snow can be limited and depends on the weather. January and February can bring icy roads, snow and travel delays, when hotel heating and winter vehicle arrangements matter most. In March, higher Gulmarg can hold snow while Srinagar feels milder.
- The package uses carefully selected premium resort-style or upscale accommodation. The actual property, room category and facilities are shared before booking, and a five-star hotel is included only when specifically confirmed in your quotation.
- The two nights are actually in Gulmarg, at a selected hotel physically in Gulmarg. Tangmarg is not an automatic substitute.
- Gulmarg Gondola Phase 1 and Phase 2 tickets are not included in the package price. We can assist with advance booking at an additional cost, subject to ticket availability, booking confirmation, weather conditions and cable car operations. Early booking is recommended, but tickets cannot be guaranteed.
- Snow or ice can make a chained or snow-equipped local vehicle necessary between Tangmarg and Gulmarg, in either direction. This is weather-dependent and charged separately, and we communicate the price and arrangement upfront before booking, as is standard for this route.
- Your hotel location matters. Some properties are closer to the main sightseeing and Gondola base than others. The selected hotel, base access, walking needs and any local transport cost are explained in your booking.
- Skiing, sledging, snowmobiles and equipment rental are optional and charged separately, and depend on local operating conditions.
- Spa services, pools, saunas and other resort facilities depend on the selected hotel and room package. They are not guaranteed inclusions.
- Drung Waterfall is optional and may be visited only when road access, local transport and daylight allow. It is not guaranteed to be frozen, and local taxi or fees are extra.
- Hotels differ in heating type, hours, hot water, backup power and room access. We confirm these details for your selected property before booking.
- If you are travelling with children or elderly family members, share any mobility, lift, room-access or luggage requirements before confirming the accommodation.
- Road closures, snow and flight delays can affect winter schedules. The final night in Srinagar helps reduce departure-day travel exposure, but cannot remove all disruption risk. Carry thermals, a warm jacket, gloves, waterproof shoes, warm socks, sunglasses, personal medicines and valid photo ID.

We prioritise suitable 4-star and upscale resort-style properties, but the exact accommodation depends on your dates and availability. The actual hotel, category, room type and facilities are shared before booking. A five-star hotel is included only when specifically confirmed in your quotation.
Can the hotel category change?
If the preferred category is unavailable, we may offer a suitable alternative for your review, with its actual standard, location, facilities and price clearly explained. We do not silently substitute a materially lower category while charging for the original accommodation.
Are both Gulmarg nights actually in Gulmarg?
Yes, two consecutive nights in Gulmarg itself. Tangmarg is not treated as an equivalent replacement without your explicit agreement to a revised itinerary and quotation.
Is this a private tour?
Yes. The main travel arrangements are private for your booking. Any required snow-equipped local vehicle is arranged according to the confirmed winter transport plan.
Will we get an Innova Crysta?
An Innova Crysta or suitable premium vehicle can be provided according to the confirmed quotation. An exact model is guaranteed only when named in your booking confirmation.
Are Gondola tickets included?
No. Gulmarg Gondola Phase 1 and Phase 2 tickets are not included in the package price. We can assist with advance booking at an additional cost, subject to ticket availability, booking confirmation, weather conditions and cable car operations. Early booking is recommended, but tickets cannot be guaranteed.
Does staying two nights guarantee a Gondola ride?
No. A longer stay allows more time in Gulmarg, but does not guarantee tickets, operating services or replacement slots.
Is skiing included?
No. Skiing, instructors, equipment, sledging and other snow activities are optional and cost extra.
Are spa and swimming pool facilities included?
Only if the selected hotel's confirmed booking includes access to those facilities. Paid treatments and special resort services are not automatically included.
Is room heating included?
Yes. Effective room heating is included during your hotel stay, as per the confirmed hotel arrangement. We confirm the heating type, hours and hot water timing before booking.
Is a private Shikara ride included?
Yes, one private Shikara ride of about one hour, subject to lake operations. If your arrival timing does not allow it, we try to arrange it on another suitable Srinagar day.
Can we add a special dinner or honeymoon arrangement?
Yes. Celebration cakes, room decoration, special dinners and other personalised experiences can be quoted separately, according to the selected property's facilities.
Is Drung Waterfall included?
No. Drung may be offered as an optional excursion if road access, transport and daylight allow. Its frozen appearance is not guaranteed.
Will we need a separate vehicle in Gulmarg?
Possibly. During snow or ice, a chained or snow-equipped local vehicle may be required between Tangmarg and Gulmarg. This is weather-dependent and charged separately, and we share the price and arrangement upfront before booking.
Are Pahalgam and Sonamarg included?
No. This itinerary focuses on Srinagar and an extended Gulmarg stay. If you want Pahalgam and Sonamarg, our other Kashmir packages cover them.
What happens if heavy snowfall affects the trip?
Our local team assesses road conditions and assists with practical alternatives where possible. Hotel changes, additional transport, extra nights and any related charges follow the agreed booking terms, and nothing is guaranteed without a supporting supplier agreement.

Confirmation Policy
- Payment for your booking can be made in multiple parts.
- Once your first payment is received, you'll get an official email confirmation with your booking summary.
- After completing 100% payment, your final Travel Coffee voucher will be issued — containing hotel details, transport arrangements, inclusions, and emergency contact information.
- Please double-check traveller names, ID proofs, and travel dates before confirming the booking.
Refund Policy
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval.
- Refunds are credited to your original payment method or Travel Coffee wallet, as applicable.
- Refund timelines may vary if third-party suppliers (like hotels or transport partners) are involved.
- Convenience fees, taxes, and gateway charges are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
- 30 days or more before travel: 25% of total booking cost charged as cancellation fees.
- 15 to 29 days before travel: 50% of total booking cost charged as cancellation fees.
- Within 14 days of travel: 100% of total booking cost charged as cancellation fees.
- No-show or last-minute cancellations (after trip start) are non-refundable.
- In case of weather disruptions, government restrictions, strikes, or other force-majeure events, alternate arrangements will be offered whenever possible. However, cash refunds are not available in such scenarios.
Payment Term Policy
- A minimum 25–50% advance payment is required at the time of booking to block your slots.
- The remaining balance must be cleared at least 30 days before travel for domestic trips and 45 days before for international trips.
- Last-minute bookings (within 10 days) require 100% upfront payment at confirmation.
- All payments must be made only via official Travel Coffee channels (links, UPI, or bank accounts) listed on our website. Payments made to personal accounts or unofficial representatives are not recognised by Travel Coffee.
