- Eravikulam often closes Feb-Mar for Nilgiri Tahr calving; access is slot-limited and ID based. Alternate is Top Station plus Tea Estate walk if closed or sold out.
- Periyar Lake boat safari is government-run; timings are seasonal. We assist with pre-booking; report 45-60 minutes early; wildlife sightings are luck-based.
- Houseboat timings: check-in 12:00, cruising till about 17:30, night halt, checkout 09:00. Deluxe AC runs at night only; Premium upgrade enables daytime AC.
- 2-star or entry-3-star expectations: compact rooms, basic amenities, some properties may not have elevators; Wi-Fi can be intermittent; room heaters if any are usually chargeable.
- Evenings in Munnar and Thekkady can be cool; carry a light layer and good-grip footwear. Share dietary preferences in advance (Kerala cuisine uses coconut and spices).

Is one night on the houseboat enough?
Yes. Boarding at noon covers canals, sunset, overnight mooring and a morning glide before checkout.
Can we guarantee Eravikulam entry?
It is slot and season dependent. If closed or sold out, we deliver Top Station plus a Tea Estate walk so the day is not lost.
Is the Periyar boat included?
Tickets are extra. We assist with advance seat booking and recommend reporting 45-60 minutes early.
What vehicle is used?
Private AC sedan for 1-3 guests; MUV or SUV for 4-6. Child seats on request.
Can we upgrade the houseboat or hotels?
Yes. Upgrade houseboat to Premium or Luxury (daytime AC, larger deck) and hotels to solid 3-star/4-star or boutique on request.

Confirmation Policy
- Payment for your booking can be made in multiple parts.
- Once your first payment is received, you'll get an official email confirmation with your booking summary.
- After completing 100% payment, your final Travel Coffee voucher will be issued — containing hotel details, transport arrangements, inclusions, and emergency contact information.
- Please double-check traveller names, ID proofs, and travel dates before confirming the booking.
Refund Policy
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval.
- Refunds are credited to your original payment method or Travel Coffee wallet, as applicable.
- Refund timelines may vary if third-party suppliers (like hotels or transport partners) are involved.
- Convenience fees, taxes, and gateway charges are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
- 30 days or more before travel: 25% of total booking cost charged as cancellation fees.
- 15 to 29 days before travel: 50% of total booking cost charged as cancellation fees.
- Within 14 days of travel: 100% of total booking cost charged as cancellation fees.
- No-show or last-minute cancellations (after trip start) are non-refundable.
- In case of weather disruptions, government restrictions, strikes, or other force-majeure events, alternate arrangements will be offered whenever possible. However, cash refunds are not available in such scenarios.
Payment Term Policy
- A minimum 25–50% advance payment is required at the time of booking to block your slots.
- The remaining balance must be cleared at least 30 days before travel for domestic trips and 45 days before for international trips.
- Last-minute bookings (within 10 days) require 100% upfront payment at confirmation.
- All payments must be made only via official Travel Coffee channels (links, UPI, or bank accounts) listed on our website. Payments made to personal accounts or unofficial representatives are not recognised by Travel Coffee.
